What started out with two actors mud-slinging soon escalated to a legal battle. But Kangana and Hrithik’s tiff gave many media houses sleepless nights as everyone wanted to know the developments first. With the media involved, the battle was now not restricted only to the two stars but became a public spectacle.
And now that the battle has finally ended, the result is a tie – neither Kangana nor Hrithik have been able to prove their claims. It all started out when Kangana was asked about her ouster from Aashiqui 3, and she stated it was a work of her silly ex. By then it was known that Hrithik was in talks for Aashiqui 3, and Kangana alleged that it was because of him that she was no more a part of the film. To this Hrithik, on the insistence of father Rakesh Roshan, filed a defamation case against the actress.
Hrithik’s team rejected charges that Kangana made when she called him her ‘silly ex’, said that according to Hrithik the two never dated. Countering these charges Kangana’s lawyer, Rizwan Siddiquee, asked for a probe into emails that Hrithik and Kangana shared while they were dating. Hrithik’s team then rejected Kangana’s claims, and alleged that the actress stalked him online, sent him 50 emails in a day. Kangana’s close friend also revealed that Hrithik followed Kangana to Paris, and proposed her. But Hrithik’s legal team again rejected these charges. They further claimed that Kangana had Asperger’s syndrome.
The emails that were provided as evidence in court were shared between Kangana and an email id- hroshan@email.com. Hrithik claimed that the email exchanged through hroshan@email.com was not him but an imposter, while Kangana claimed that it was Hrithik who sent her those emails. The Mumbai police’s forensic probed into the romantic emails exchanged between the two, but failed to find any conclusion what so ever. Sanjay Saxena, joint commissioner of police said, “We have been unable to find anything on the mail ID as the server is located in the US. Now it is very difficult to ascertain who was using the account. Still, we will try to conclude [the case] from the available evidence.”
With the forensic team unable to come to a conclusion post the probe, the team has submitted a ‘NIL Report’.
The case, for now, remains closed as nothing could be drawn out of the claims Kangana and Hrithik made against each other. For now, there are no other developments in this case.
