But recently, some people have started to say that her success has gotten to her head. Many people in the industry have termed her ‘arrogant’ lately, and Priyanka Chopra has the perfect answer for them.
In a recent interview, Priyanka Chopra said:
“People call it arrogance, I call it self-assurance. I am who I am. You like it, great. You don’t like it, I don’t care. That’s who I have always been.
Whether I am coming to America, whether I go to India, I am always true to just who I am. If you try and change yourself, thinking that, ‘Oh, I am going to a new country, I need to please or I need to not be an alien enough’, then you are over-thinking.
People have to like you or relate to you for who you are. You can’t be someone else. So I have stayed very true to myself, whether it is India or America, of course.”
