The nepotism debate that started with Kangana Ranaut calling Karan Johar the "flag bearer of nepotism" on his chat show 'Koffee With Karan' doesn't seem to come to an end. While the actors are continually questioned about the existence of nepotism, Vidya Balan reveals that she is now bored of the topic.
The actress, who was present at a recent event for creating awareness about child sexual abuse, during the interactions said that she is not interested in getting into the whole nepotism debate. "With due respect to everyone who embroidered this controversy, I am bored with this discussion on nepotism," said Vidya.
The actress further added, "I mean I am seriously bored on who is on which side of the debate these days. I turn the page of the newspaper the moment I see the word... I am not interested."
On the work front, the actress has completed shooting for 'Tumhari Sulu' in which she will be seen playing a radio jockey. Talking about recreating the iconic song 'Hawa Hawai' for the film, Vidya said, "Yes, we are paying a tribute to Sridevi with the song 'Hawa Hawai'... I loved shooting the film, and now the film is in post-production and I am chilling."
The actress was present at the event along with Rahul Bose to voice her concerns about child sexual abuse.
