Akshay Kumar's 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' and Shah Rukh Khan's untitled next are soon to clash at the Box Office on August 11. This will be the second big clash after Shah Rukh's 'Raees' and Hrithik Roshan's 'Kaabil' clashed at the Box Office early this year. While 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' was supposed to hit theatres in July, a delay in the production of the film led to a change in its release date.
However, 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' and Shah Rukh's untitled next, both will now release during the Independence Day weekend. This means that it will be Akshay up against Shah Rukh at the Box Office this time. While nothing much has been said about the clash as of now, 'Kaabil' director Sanjay Gupta took to Twitter to state his opinion on the same.
After Akshay shared a poster of the film confirming its release date, Sanjay Gupta took to his Twitter and took a nasty dig at Shah Rukh with his opinion. His tweet read: KARMA, you beauty! I love and believe in you so much. I love how you go after all that f*** with you. KARTAM BHUKTAM on Independence Day.
While the filmmaker then deleted the tweet, a screenshot of the same explains how unhappy Sanjay was about the Raees-Kaabil clash.
After deleting his tweet, Sanjay yet again shared the poster of 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha', and wrote "OUTSTANDING." Well, was the tweet Sanjay way of getting back at Shah Rukh for the clash between 'Raees' and 'Kaabil'?!
Alongside Shah Rukh, the untitled next also stars Anushka Sharma and is directed by Imtiaz Ali. Whereas 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' will see Bhumi Pednekar star opposite Akshay in the film.
