With a decade since its inception, the 10th anniversary celebrations of the ‘Indian Premiere League’ can be best described as grand! While the tenth season will commence and culminate in Hyderabad, there will eight opening ceremonies held, one in each team’s home ground. With the tag line of ‘Yeh Dus Saal Aapke Naam’, the opening ceremonies will be conducted in Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mohali, Mumbai, Pune and Rajkot.
IPL is known for the grand and star-studded opening ceremony, and as per reports this year the ‘Baaghi’ co-stars, Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor are to kick-off two of the eight opening ceremonies. The ‘Munna Michael’ actor is slated to perform on his chartbusters and a few iconic hits from his idol Hrithik Roshan’s films as well.
While Tiger will be performing in Rajkot, his ‘Baaghi’ co-star, Shraddha Kapoor is all set to kick off the opening ceremony in Kolkata. A source close to the development informed, “Shraddha will soon start rehearsing for her act and is really excited. Her father Shakti Kapoor who has played cricket at the state-level and is a huge fan of the sport, will also attend the event to cheer his daughter on and support Shah Rukh Khan’s IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders.”
With eight grand opening ceremonies planned, it looks like the tenth season of Indian Premiere League is going to be the biggest season till date!
