Actress Shruti Hasan has filed a police complaint with Cyber Crime Cell in Chennai against her stalker from Kartanka. The stalker allegedly sent the actress abusive messages on her twitter handle @Shrutihasan. The stalker not only sent her abusive messages but also death threats. He even claimed that if manages to come close to the actress he’ll stab and kill her.
Shruti has reportedly submitted a two-page complaint to the Cyber Crime grievance cell through her agent Praveen Antony on Wednesday in Chennai. According to the senior police officer at the City Police Commissioner’s Office, the complaint has been forwarded to the central crime branch for further investigation.
In the complaint submitted, Shruti Haasan identified the stalker as Dr K G Guruprasad from Karnataka, and he works at the Hasan Institute of Medical Science. The actress has stated that he had been sending messages to her for the past two months, and has attached the screenshots of the messages to her complaint.
However, this is not the first time that the actress has been stalked. Back in 2013, an obsessive fan came to her door and allegedly tried to grab her through the gap in her door.
