With actresses by the likes of Anushka Sharma and Priyanka Chopra changing the production game, it doesn't come as a surprise that other actresses too will soon follow suit. Parineeti Chopra, whose 'Meri Pyaari Bindu' is right ahead of its release, plans to follow cousin Priyanka's footsteps soon.
Parineeti harbours dreams of producing films someday just like Anushka. Parineeti is all praises for Anushka, and opines, "What she has done is fantastic. It required a lot of confidence and guts and she is doing an incredible job. I know her personally and I admire her."
Ask if she has a production venture in mind, Parineeti reiterates, "Right now, I would like to. I want to, only because I do have a business mind. I would definitely love to do it."
She further adds, "I am just collecting experience and that’s all I lack right now. I don’t have the experience to make a film, but I really like the process of making a film. I am a business student, I am a banker in real life, so I would like to combine the two things for sure. Someday soon."
Ask if she has some deadline for the same, Parineeti says, "No, whenever the right opportunity comes, I would jump on as a producer."
Talking about the content and genre that she would like to produce films in, "I don’t think it will happen like that. It will automatically come to me that whenever I read a script, I would be like, ‘I want to produce this’. It should be an organic thing," says Parineeti before she signs off.
