The very beginning of the year saw two big films, Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Raees' and Hrithik Roshan's 'Kaabil' clash at the Box Office. Rakesh Roshan was seemingly upset with the makers of 'Raees' for preponing the release of the film to January 25 from January 26. Hrithik too admitted that he was hurt when the distributors allotted 'Kaabil' 40 percent of the screens instead of the promised 50 percent.
'Raees' was co-produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Excel Entertainment (which is co-owned by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani). Farhan is known to be good friends with Hrithik, but apparently, the because of the clash Hrithik and Farhan's camaraderie has taken a hit.
According to a leading daily, before the clash happened, Farhan had approached Hrithik for a film. However, the film might not happen now. A source close to the daily revealed, "Hrithik was approached by Farhan last year for a film produced by his banner. But now it looks like that film might not happen."
With reports of their friendship going sour making rounds, a source close to Hrithik clarified saying, "He (Hrithik) has not been approached for a film produced by Ritesh and Farhan for the last four years. He hasn’t signed any film till now but is reading many scripts."
Well, with the 'Raees' and 'Kaabil' clash finally settling in, we just hope Hrithik and Farhan soon sort out differences if any!
