Post Bipasha Basu's marriage with Karan Singh Grover, the actress kept away from signing films for quite some time. However, reports suggest that Bipasha was looking for a right film to come to her. And her wait is finally over as the actress, apparently, has shown interest in a script. The film is said to be a remake of 2009’s 'The Blind Side'.
Bipasha has finalised on the script and is looking for a studio who will co-produce the film. A source close to a leading daily reveals, "Bipasha is on the lookout for a studio to co-produce the film with her. Once that happens, they will finalise a director."
The report further suggests that Bipasha is keen on playing Sandra Bullock’s character in the original film. The story of the film revolves around a wealthy powerful woman who adopts an underprivileged child. The woman then helps the kid get ahead by making choices for him and encouraging him to take up sports.
The source further added, "The actress is currently in talks over obtaining the remake rights, but it will be completely changed to suit Indian audiences. Bips loved that Leigh Anne’s character has complex shades to her. A formal announcement will be made once everything is finalised."
However, when the leading daily contacted Bipasha to confirm the news, the actress said, "It’s too early to talk about it."
