Akshay’s proposed app to support families of slain jawans gets government approval

In a yet another movement to better the lives of our soldiers, Akshay Kumar recently proposed an app to support the families of the slain jawans.
The ‘Bharat Ke Veer’ app was proposed by the actor to extend financial help to the families of soldiers who lost their lives serving the country. Through the app, people can send in financial help to the family of deceased. Akshay had also shared a video ahead of Republic Day, and it is in the same video that Akshay mentioned about a website or an app that will help connect people to the families of the killed jawans.

The app will allow a maximum transfer of Rs 15 lakh as a donation to the verified account of the next of kin of those soldiers who lost their lives at the line of duty. The government has also approved the app, and are soon planning to launch it.
Akshay along with Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Minister of State Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju is expected to launch the website and the app soon.
