Experts say that getting rid of acne isn't really as difficult as it seems. As long as you have a balanced diet along with a healthy lifestyle you'll be able to steer clear of acne. Preeti Seth, Cosmetologist, Pachouli Wellness Clinic, Delhi, and Prabhu Mishra, Senior Cosmetologist, SCI International Hospital, Delhi have shared a few tips of what one should include in their diet if they want to keep acne at bay.
Brown rice: Brown rice provides you with the right amount of vitamin B, as opposed to white rice which contains carbohydrates. Rich in protein, magnesium, and several antioxidants it helps regulate hormone levels and prevents breakouts.
Garlic: It fights inflammation and is full of a naturally occurring chemical called allicin, which kills off many harmful bacteria and viruses.
Broccoli: Broccoli is rich in health building properties like vitamins A, B complex, C, E, and K. It also contains antioxidants which fight radical damage to the skin.
Fish: Fish is known to be a really good source of omega-3 and 6 fatty acids which makes it perfect for acne prone skin. Sardine and salmon are very good for skin.
Nuts: Nuts contain essential nutrients such as selenium, vitamin E, copper, magnesium, manganese, potassium, calcium and iron, which are all great for the skin.
So, when are you planning on introducing these foods in your diet?
