Blackheads here, blackheads there, blackheads almost everywhere. Well, blackheads usually occur on your face but are most visible on your nose. For those of you who aren't aware of what exactly blackheads are, these are tiny bumps that are caused on the skin due to clogged pores. The blackheads are first formed as whiteheads which turn black eventually due to oxidisation. And boy can these be difficult to get rid of. That's where face masks step into the picture. If you opt for the right ones, they can help get rid of your blackheads in no time. So, if you're wondering which face mask you need to opt for, here are some DIY masks that will aid you.
Coconut oil and sugar mask: While sugar works wonders as a mild exfoliant, coconut oil can provide your skin with the moisturisation it needs. For the mask, you'll need a teaspoon of coconut oil and a teaspoon of sugar. Mix these two ingredients in a bowl to form a scrub like concoction. Apply the mixture on the areas you want to and then massage gently. Once done, rinse it off with a mild cleanser.
Egg whites and lemon mask: Yet another perfect DIY recipe is the egg whites and lemon mask. While the egg works as a peel to help remove blackheads, lemons can also help gently exfoliate your skin. They also help brighten your skin and give you an even complexion. You'll need 1 egg white, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and some tissue papers for this one. Mix the egg white and lemon juice together. Put the tissue on your nose and face and then apply the mixture all over it. Once done, let it dry completely and then peel the tissue paper off. You'll notice how it'll also remove all the dirt and grime from your pores along with it.
Try these two face masks and you'll see just how much of a difference they can truly make to your skin. And since these ingredients are often easily available in the house, you don't even have to bother about having to look for them or purchase them from elsewhere. It just makes things so much easier. So, what are you waiting for? Go give them a try. Stay tuned for more updates.
