While dehydration, skipping meals and fasting could be the reason to trigger headaches, there are a few foods which you're probably missing out on that you must consume when you get a headache.
Here's what you should eat when you get a headache:
Spinach: Leafy greens are very beneficial for a lot of things, but one really great thing that it does is gets rid of headaches. Spinach has high levels of magnesium which is found to be very powerful properties to do away headaches.
Ginger: Ginger has the ability to block neurotransmitters that causes slight swelling on your brain which ultimately gives you some kind of discomfort. You can grate it into your food dishes or simply make some veggie juice and add ginger to it.
Watermelon: This hydrating fruit can help your dehydrated body get some much needed hydration. This in turn helps you get rid of headaches that are caused due to dehydration. You can also consume this fruit to keep you feeling full for longer duration.
