Known as the King of romance, Shah Rukh Khan had helped an entire generation define their idea of love and relationships. From 'Pyaar Dosti Hai' to 'What You Seek Is Seeking You', Shah Rukh's movie dialogues are forever etched in our minds. However, Shah Rukh reveals that he in real life is nothing like the characters he plays on screen.
In a recent interaction when the star was asked if his idea of romance was like the one in 'Mills and Boons', Shah Rukh said, "I don't know women better but I feel women better." Further reasoning the same he added, "This is because I have done really nice love stories. Even in 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,' it was from a woman's point of view. The women can relate to the love in my movies. Therefore, I have started feeling women better. I have become more gentlemanly but I don't know if I have become a better partner."
Shah Rukh continued, "I am a manly 'Mills & Boon' kind of lover..a walking, talking Mills and Boon. I don't have a personal brand of love. I have said this before, I really don't have an idea of love. I could be a 'Devdas' lover, I may have my mannerisms."
Calling himself an empty vessel, Shah Rukh said, "I understand love, I am like an empty vessel, which you can fill and I will take the shape of love. I have never been the same lover in my films, I have been the lover as my director sees fit. But I understand Imtiaz's lover better. I don't though; have a fixed concept of love."
Revealing her thoughts on the same, Anushka concluded, "It is his dimples, his smile...It is our memories of seeing him fall in love and making others fall in love with him and thinking, 'I too want to fall in love like this.' And you want to see him again and again because when he falls in love, you too get that feeling. I think we want to relive our memories."
