Hrithik Roshan, who was last seen in Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Kaabil’ alongside Yami Gautam, has been on a break post the success of the film. The ‘Krissh’ actor, who is just back from his US vacation with family and friends has apparently dived heard first into work.
If reports are to be believed, Hrithik has been approached to play the lead in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s next, which is being produced by Ronnie Screwvala. Talking about the project, a source close to the development revealed, “It’s a film on kabaddi, set in a prisoner- of-war camp, which has been developed by Ronnie’s writers. Hrithik has heard the script but is yet to sign on the dotted line. The film is expected to roll by the year-end. The final locations will be selected soon.”
When prodded further if Ronnie’s kabaddi team will make an appearance, to this, the source added that contrary to the reports, they won’t. The source asserted, “It’s not even a biopic. It’s completely fiction.”
While there has been no official confirmation regarding the project, Hrithik and Rakeysh, both, are busy with their respective commitments. Rakeysh is currently prepping for Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-starrer ‘Fanney Khan’ and Hrithik is reportedly busy with the prep for the superhero-flick ‘Krissh 4’.
