Aamir Khan’s one of the most anticipated film this year is Dangal, and why not as the actor has walked an extra mile for his role in the film. The film has been much spoken about for the past two years, but more for its uncanny similarities with Salman Khan’s Sultan. Sultan released this year with a lot of buzz, during the interactions Salman was even questioned if Sultan and Dangal are similar. To which he said that though both the films dealt with the topic of wrestling, the stories are entirely different. He even said that he had read Dangal’s script and there is nothing for Aamir to fear when it comes to the reception of the film at the box office.
But, what really gets our attention is the trailer of Dangal which had a few scenes that looked similar to Salman’s scenes in Sultan. And it is not only we who think so, even Salman was shocked when he saw the trailer. According to a leading website, Salman gave a rather shocking reaction when he saw the trailer of Dangal.
A source close to the website revealed: Salman Khan watched Dangal trailer when he was shooting for Tubelight in Manali. After watching the trailer, he too observed the scooter and the sweater scene and found it similar to his wrestling drama.
While Dangal is pitched to be a heads turner as the story is more of human interest, one can also not miss but notice the similarities between the films. We just hope that the film turns out to be as good as expected.
