Bollywood actors, Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Tabu and Sonali Bendre appeared before the Jodhpur court in regards to the 1998 Blackbuck poaching case. While the hearing was to be held on 25
th January, the case was deferred to 27
th, wherein all the accused had to record their statements.
In the hearing held today, Salman Khan, dressed in blue shirt and denims was asked approximately 60 questions by the Jodhpur magistrate, to most of which Salman replied with 'galat'. The actor said, "Only the first forensic report of Dr Nepalia saying that the animal died of 'natural causes' was true and the rest of the evidence is false."
During the case Salman Khan claimed that he was innocent, and he was being falsely implicated in the case. Salman was let off in the two cases related to the killing of chinkara deer by the Rajasthan High Court last year. The actor was also acquitted last week by the Jodhpur Court in the Arms Act case linked to the poaching.
Jodhpur court has announced February 15, as the next date of the case hearing.
