With Salman Khan starrer 'Tubelight' in theatres already, the actor is now gearing up for his next 'Tiger Zinda Hai' alongside Katrina Kaif, which is slated to hit theatres during Christmas this year. While the teasers of the film will be out in the coming months, a leading daily report suggests that the production house, Yash Raj Films, is contemplating on a third part in the series.
After making a successful franchise like the 'Dhoom' series, there are talks in the production house for making the 'Tiger' series with Salman. While the actors keep changing in the 'Dhoom' series, Salman will be a constant in 'Tiger' keeping in mind his fan following.
A source close to the daily revealed, "Aditya Chopra and Salman have spoken about taking forward the 'Tiger' franchise and end it with a third part. The main team remains the same. As of now, the plan is for Ali Abbas Zafar, who’s directing 'Tiger Zinda Hai', to helm the third part, too."
'Tiger Zinda Hai' will begin from where 'Ek Tha Tiger' ended, and same will be the case with part three. “The ending of 'Tiger Zinda Hai' is being designed in a way that it leaves room for another, most probably the final sequel. It will be a fresh story with newer characters and a bigger adventure and will culminate the series," added the source.
Keeping in mind that Salman doesn't have dates before 2019, it seems highly unlikely that the film is on priority for the star. While he is in talks with the production house, the script and the storyline are yet to be finalised.
