After having worked with ace filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani on 'Munna Bhai M.B.B.S', 'PK', '3 Idiots' and 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai', Boman Irani is all set to play a role in Ranbir Kapoor starrer the Sanjay Dutt biopic. The filmmaker has managed to specially carve a role for Boman, which the actor will soon begin shooting for.
Talking to a leading daily about the same, Boman revealed, "Raju couldn’t find something for me in the beginning, but he wanted me to do something. He requested me to make a special appearance, and I readily agreed. I have already shot for my role in the film." He further added, "It was nostalgic, and it felt good to be back on Hirani’s set. I hate to use the word lucky mascot because his films have nothing to do with luck. It’s about the story."
Talking about his character in the film, Boman revealed, "It’s an unknown character, not a famous person. In a biopic, most of the characters relate to that person’s life, but this person is not known to the public. You might not have read his name in the papers."
