Rumour mills went into an overdrive when Salman Khan walked in uninvited during Rajinikanth's '2.0' first look launch. When quizzed about the same, Salman confessed that he is Rajinikanth's fan. He said, "I learnt about the launch and wanted to see Rajinikanth garu. He is a most amazing man and I have a lot of respect for him." Rajinikanth replied to Salman's kind words and hinted at the possibility of a collaboration saying, “Even tomorrow if Salman says yes, I’m ready.”
And now it looks like that the opportunity has finally presented itself. According to sources, the two superstars will now join forces for a collaboration, which will be helmed by Rockline Venkatesh. Rockline Venkatesh was the co-producer for Salman Khan's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and he associated with Rajinikanth for 'Lingaa'.
According to DNA, this project is still in the planning stage. However, the producer maintained, “When Rajini decides to work with someone, everything just falls into place and things go at a rapid pace. On my part, there is no such move. I will announce my next movie at a suitable time.”
Well, this will be one magnum opus to look out for!
