It is common for films to be now promoted on the small screen. Stars appearing on popular reality shows and comedy shows to promote films is highly been advertised as television per se has a different audience altogether. The biggest of the films have had to go through rigorous promotions to reach out to its audience, and thus television helps give the best platform.
While almost all films- big or small, have been following suit, Aamir definitely has different plans for promoting ‘Dangal’. Aamir plans not to promote ‘Dangal’ on television at all. Aamir is known to go unconventional while promoting his films, and same will be the case for ‘Dangal’. Aamir at a recent event was asked about the film’s promotions, and on which television shows will he be seen promoting ‘Dangal’. To this Aamir said, “I'm not going on Television.” Adding that the promos and trailers of ‘Dangal’ will be shown on television.
He was further prodded by the media whether he will go on Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 10 for promotions, to which he said, “I'm not going on Salman's show- Bigg Boss 10.”
Well, as of now Aamir has completely ruled out a possibility of promoting the film on television. It will be an experience to see him promote the film on other platforms, hopefully in a different manner.
