Bollywood actor Rohit Roy, who directed a short film, 'Rice Plate' last year is now all set to helm a full-length feature film. According to reports, Rohit Roy has signed a three-film deal with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the project is all set to roll in the coming months.
Ronit's first project is a love story about a hit-woman and a non-violent professor living in Girgaum. Talking about the project, Rohit said, "It’s a unique love story between a hit-woman and a non-violent professor. Sanjay sir gave me the script. We should lock it by June-July after which I’ll give him a final narration. I hope I live up to his faith."
While the actor is currently busy doing the recce for the film in Girgaum, he is also simultaneously working on another idea. The second story which is also given by Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a love story set in Kashmir. The actor further added, "But most probably the other film should start first."
When asked about his direction plans for future, Ronit smiled and added, "I remember Javed saab (Akhtar) telling me once that he had been waiting for the perfect script for years and told me to get started and hunt for one. Well, seems the wait is over."
