One of the most-loved and charismatic actors of Bollywood, Vinod Khanna passed away on Thursday after his long battle with advanced bladder carcinoma. While various imminent personalities and Bollywood celebrities attended the veteran actor's funeral, the 'young actors' were not to be seen.
Vinod Khanna's 'Chandni' co-star Rishi Kapoor later took to his Twitter handle to express his anger over the no-show of the Gen Y actors. In a series of tweets, Rishi Kapoor expressed his anger and added that 'not one actor' from the current generation, including the ones who have worked with him, attended Khanna’s funeral.
Angry over this 'no show', Rishi Kapoor further added that he has to be prepared for a similar fate once his dies as no one will come to shoulder him.
When quizzed by the Twitterati about son Ranbir's absence, Rishi added that his wife and son were out of the station, but would have definitely attended the funeral had they been in the city.
Calling out the actors, Kapoor further added that he had met them the previous night at a bash held by Priyanka Chopra but no one turned up for Khanna's funeral. Expressing his disappointment, he criticised the current crop of actors for being disrespectful towards Vinod Khanna.
