Katrina Kaif's friendship with Salman Khan dates back to the time when Katrina had just started out as a newbie in the Bollywood industry. Often spotted at Salman's residence and with family, Katrina was rumoured to be in a relationship with the star for quite some time until she started dating Ranbir Kapoor.
Salman and Katrina will be next seen together in 'Tiger Zinda Hai', a sequel to the action spy thriller 'Ek Tha Tiger'. The two have previously worked together in 'Partner', 'Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?', and 'Yuvvraaj' amongst other films.
Talking about her experience of working with Salman to a leading daily, Katrina said, "I have known Salman for so many years now. After shooting with him for a long time, you miss his flamboyance and his fun side. He has a great sense of humour and flamboyance. He has a way of living life, where a great energy buzzes around him. It comes as a force and flood when you come back to the set with him. He has an amazing aura and warmth around him."
Katrina also shares a great equation with 'Tiger Zinda Hai' director Ali Abbas Zafar. Ali and Katrina worked together in 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan'. Talking about reuniting with best friend Ali, Katrina said, "It’s a wonderful film set to be on because Ali Abbas (Zafar; director) has been one of my dearest friends. We’ve been super close since New York (2009) before we worked on Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011) together. He is an integral part of my support system and my life. I am also really proud of him because I see a huge growth in him as a director."
Produced by Yash Raj Films, 'Tiger Zinda Hai' releases during Christmas this year!
