As more and more international movies are releasing their Hindi versions in the country, more and more Bollywood stars are being roped in to lend their voices for the Hindi version.
This year, it began with Shah Rukh Khan for ‘The Lion King’ and more recently and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for ‘Maleficient: Misstress Evil’. The latest to join the bandwagon are the Chopra sisters, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Parineeti Chopra for ‘Frozen II’.
The sequel for the Disney film, ‘Frozen’, is essentially a story about two sisters, Elsa and Anna. The real-life cousins, Priyanka and Parineeti will be lending their voice for Elsa and Anna respectively. The Chopra Sisters even took to their social media platforms to announce it. They wrote, "Mimi and Tisha are now Elsa and Anna!! Us #ChopraSisters are finally coming together for Disney’s Frozen 2!! Can’t wait for you guys to see us… I mean HEAR us bring these amazing, strong characters to life in Hindi. #Frozen 2 in theatres on 22nd November 2019. @priyankachopra @disneyfilmsindia #FrozenSisters"
This is not the first time Priyanka and Parineeti have lent their voices for films. Priyanka had previously dubbed for ‘Planes’ for the character, ‘Ishaani’ and for ‘The Jungle Book’ for the character for ‘Kaa’. Parineeti had previously lent her voice for the Hindi version of ‘Big Friendly Giant’ along with Amitabh Bachchan.
On the world front, Priyanka is currently basking in the success of her film, ‘The Sky Is Pink’. Parineeti is prepping for ‘Saina’ which badminton star Saina Nehwal's biopic.
