The rumours of a possible sequel to 'Dostana' have been doing rounds for quite some time now. In fact, there were reports that as PeeCee is too busy with her Hollywood assignments, Katrina will step in hr shoes for the sequel. There were also reports of cast change, and even, director change! However, there has never been any official confirmation, and whenever asked about it, there was no direct answer to the question.
However, on the occasion of eight anniversary of the film, Abhishek Bachchan took to Twitter to not only congratulate the cast and crew of the film but also, suggested a possible reunion. He said, "What??? 8 years already? Time for a reunion kids @karanjohar @priyankachopra @TheJohnAbraham @Tarunmansukhani #8yrsofDostana"
Seeing Abhishek's tweet, Priyanka Chopra chimed in saying that she is up for the reunion and asked for director Tarun Mansukhani's opinion. She said, " I'm in. Thank you to everyone who gave us so much love #8YearsOfDostana @juniorbachchan @TheJohnAbraham @Tarunmansukhani @karanjohar"
Continuing the discussion, Tarun Mansukhani quickly quipped, "Reunion?? U mean...

However, Abhishek Bachchan quickly squashed the possibility of a sequel with a tweet saying, "Haha. No! That ain't happening but at least we all can meet!!!"
