Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus, 'Padmavati' finally went
on floors this month. While the lead actress, Deepika, has not started shooting for the film yet, she visited the sets on the first day to wish the team good luck.
Deepika, who plays the titular role in 'Padmavati', when asked about the film said that she was very excited to start shooting for the same. The actress who recently completed nine years in the industry said, "I don't feel I have completed nine years, I feel I have just started off. I feel I have a lot more to give and I think I am ready for more challenging roles and films, and I am excited about one of those experiences, as 'Padmavati' is going to be extremely difficult. But I am ready for that experience and journey.
When asked her international red carpet debut at the MTV Europe Music Awards, 2016, Deepika confessed that she had a ball during the awards. She exclaimed, "It's exactly the same (walking Indian and international red carpet). It's fun to get up and get ready and interact with the media and fans. It was amazing watching international artistes perform. I learnt a lot by just watching them."
