With Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor starrer 'Baaghi' turning out top be a huge success, filmmaker Ahmed Khan is all set to make a sequel to the film. While it is confirmed that Tiger is playing the protagonist yet again, there are speculations surrounding the leading lady of the film.
A recent report in a leading daily suggests that the makers have signed on Kriti Sanon to play the female lead in 'Baaghi 2'. A source close to the daily reveals, "The sequel will be directed by Ahmed Khan and while the first look poster with Tiger was recently launched, an official announcement about the leading lady will be made soon. Kriti has been finalised for the role and has been spotted outside Sajid Nadiadwala’s (producer) office quite a few times in the past month."
Kriti and Tiger made their Bollywood debut in 'Heropanti', and 'Baaghi 2' will be their second film together. The source further adds, "Also, the makers are keen to have the 'Heropanti' pair back on screen as their pairing was a hit with the audience. Sajid launched Tiger and Kriti with this project and shares a special equation with the actors."
'Baaghi 2' is to be directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, and the film is slated to release on April 27, 2018.
