Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, who are amongst the top actresses of Bollywood, are also making waves in Hollywood. Deepika has already made her Hollywood debut alongside Vin Diesel in 'xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage', whereas Priyanka is soon to make her Hollywood film debut with 'Baywatch' alongside Dwayne Johnson and Zac Effron.
Recently, a leading daily asked Katrina if she would want to test waters in the West. To this, the actress said, "As an actor, I want to be part of good films. This (Bollywood) is my industry, this is my home, a place that has obviously given me my career and so much more."
Katrina further added, "But if someone from there comes to me with a good offer, there is no reason why I would not want to do it. Especially, for me, in a place where the language is my first language and the added bonus of listening to English scripts. For me, it will be a lovely experience to do a Hollywood film at some point."
Listing out her reasons to stay in Bollywood, Katrina quips, "The other steps for getting into Hollywood like an agent, manager, building a base there, etc, is a bit painstaking and a time-consuming process and something I need to dedicate a little more time to. It would be lovely and something I would love to do, of course, but it’s not something that I have the time for, immediately."
On the work front, Katrina is currently shooting for 'Tiger Zinda Hai' alongside Salman Khan. She is also rumoured to be a part of Aanand L Rai's next that will see Shah Rukh Khan play a dwarf in the film. Recently there were rumours about Katrina signing on to do 'Thugs Of Hindostan' alongside Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.
