According to the reports that came out a few months ago, Akshay Kumar was all set to be a part of director Neeraj Pandey's next, 'Crack'. Since the announcement was made, there have been a lot of speculations surrounding the film.
Recently, there were rumours that the collaboration has been shelved. However, Akshay Kumar took to his social media handle and clarified that 'Crack' is happening.
In fact, director Neeraj Pandey too slammed the shelved the rumours and said,
"We are working on the script of 'Crack' right now. Once the script is ready we will begin (the shoot)."However, if recent reports are to be believed, the film has been shelved owing to internal differences. Talking about the same a source close to the development said,
"The film is no more in the making due to some unknown internal differences."
The film was scheduled to release Independence Day 2017, but instead, Akshay's 'Toilet-Ek Prem Katha' is all set to clash with Imtiaz Ali's untitled next starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma.
