Recently, during the trailer launch of Govinda's next 'Aa Gaya Hero', the actor had shown displeasure for not being invited on 'Koffee With Karan'. He appeared to be quite upset with Karan Johar for not inviting him to grace the 'KWK' couch. Stating his displeasure, Govinda said, "If you see, Karan Johar never called me for any of his interviews. He has called comedians, singers, actors, newcomers and everyone else."
At an event yesterday, Karan was questioned about Govinda's displeasure, to which the director said, "
I have not invited him, no. I think there was a talk about getting him on the show in between and it didn't seem to probably at that time. I think they thought about it and ideated."
When asked if we will get to see Govinda on the show, KJo added, "I
t would be an absolute honour and privilege to have Govinda on the show and my apologies that he hasn't been and has felt upset about it. There was no intention to hurt him. He is a terrific artist, a great movie star. And I would love to call him and thank you for passing the message on. Now I will take note and invite him and I hope he accepts my invitation."
Well, we too hope that Govinda accepts KJo's invitation to grace the couch.
