As reported earlier, Salman and his Romanian girlfriend, Iulia Vantur seem to have parted ways. In fact, there were reports that Salman's family had made an effort to inculcate Iulia in their family, and Iulia had even reciprocated the gesture. But if Iulia's recent interview to a leading magazine is anything to go by, things were not as rosy as they seemed.
When asked by the Romanian magazine about her Indian experience, Iulia said, "I started to sing in Hindi, I took singing lessons. It is totally different there (In India) but I got used to it. The mentality is different, the culture, the people, everything is different. There is not much privacy. Also, there are many people living in one house." This answer certainly makes us wonder if this is a subtle dig at Salman's family!
Adding on to her answer, Iulia added, "We must also learn how to dress for walking on the streets. I found out later that my clothing was too low cut. Yes, I learned a little about India and the languages." The model also spoke about the sacrifices she made to come to Inia, she said, "Because I left to India, I could not pursue my theatre acting career. But I am glad that I had the opportunity to feature in a play directed by Horatiu with George Ivascu."
Concluding the interview with her views on motherhood, Iulia said, "A child is a blessing but you must be prepared. It is a big responsibility. However, not so much depends on us and our desires but the one above."
