Actress Deepika Padukone on Monday attended her upcoming blockbuster film ‘Padmavati’s’ 3D trailer launch, in the city. At the event, Deepika opened up about the film and her character Rani Padmini. The actress also spoke about the unibrow her character dons in the film. The actress said, “Women have been conditioned to think of beauty in a certain way”. She further added, “Talking about my remuneration is not exciting for me.”
When asked about how she relates to her character, she stated, “Rani Padmavati’s soul is here with us, I feel like I am living her.” The actress had recently also spoken at the trailer launch of the film and stated, “Nothing and no one can stop this film.”
Last week, the first song titled ‘Ghoomar’ was released and boy did it drive the fans crazy. The actress spoke about her performance in the film and stated, “It has been one of the most difficult song sequences that Sanjay sir and I have shot for. The shooting of the film began with this song and I will never forget that day. I remember approaching my mark for the first shot and suddenly, I felt a chill run through my body. It was almost as if Padmavati’s soul had entered my body. That feeling still lingers and will continue for years to come.”
