Our desi girl Priyanka Chopra is slaying it in both the Bollywood and the Hollywood film industry. The actress is totally impressing everyone with her impeccable style and talent. But unfortunately, no matter what the actress achieves, she still isn't immune to trolls. The Quantico actor shared a picture of her family members' with the former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi, on her 33rd death anniversary. Here's what she posted:
Following her post, the actress was trolled left, right and centre with users accusing her of glorifying whom they call a 'mass murderer'. Trolls wrote things like:
"@priyankachopra I unfollow u bcz u shared that person i hate a lot"
"I hate this person and unfollow you"
"Perspective: aside from whatever aspirations Indira Gandhi had as a leader, the result is that she is responsible for the slaughter of thousands of people. 1984 was the climax of years of bad policies by Gandhi against the Punjab and her trying to keep Sikhs under her thumb. Separatists didn't just spring up out of nowhere - the politics are much more complicated than that."
"Apart from all the politics, which we can debate all day, the fact is that thousands of innocent people were slaughtered under her orders and then after assassination thousands more were brutally slaughtered, raped, and pillaged under her son's orders - in the most systematic way. Priyanka is not just an entertainer, she's also a UN Goodwill Ambassador, so her posting a pic of someone who brings so much sadness to a community that is still reeling from the aftermath of 1970s and 1980s and 20 years of systematic killings following 1984 - is just plain insensitive. She should recognize that and apologize. If you sign up to be a Goodwill Ambassador internationally then you have to be held up to the highest standards."

Well, looks like this totally backfired for Priyanka. We wonder what will happen next. Stay tuned for more updates.
