Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' hit theatres on March 10, and continues to mint monies at the Box Office. The film is not only critically acclaimed but also managed to receive appreciation in abundance from the audience. 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' is the second instalment in the 'Love' franchise, first being Alia and Varun starrer 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania'.
Karan Johar, during the 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' trailer launch, announced that Dharma Productions will produce three films under the 'Love' franchise. With 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' and 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' well received at the Box Office, helmer Shashank Khaitan is interested in making the third instalment.
When asked about the same, Shashank said, "We are delighted with the response. We are getting a lot of encouragement. After seeing the film, the audience is coming out of the theatres with happy faces. I am really keen to make the third instalment of the '...Dulhania' franchise. But till now, what will be the story and when will we start it... That hasn't been decided yet."
Talking about 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' being well received, Shashank said, "Through this film, we have tried to give a message in a very entertaining way. Critics and audience are realising and appreciating the core message which the film gives. So, we as a team are really happy with the outcome and result of the film."
Well, with both 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' and 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' thoroughly entertaining the audience, a third in the '...Dulhania' franchise is much awaited.
