Athiya Shetty, daughter of Suneil and Mana Shetty, made her big Bollywood debut opposite Sooraj Pancholi in ‘Hero’ which was produced by Salman Khan under the Salman Khan Films banner. The film released in 2015, and it is since then that the actress is on a lookout for projects that could help her strengthen her Bollywood foothold.
The actress has already begun working on her next, ‘Mubarakan’ alongside Arjun Kapoor. The film that also stars Anil Kapoor, will hit theatres this year. The actress, during a recent media interaction, was asked as to which actress does she look up to. To this, Athiya said, “I’ve looked up to Anushka Sharma, she has inspired me, especially how she has taken her career so well. She is producing films, started off at a young age, she is making the films she wants to, producing the ones she believes in.”
She further went on to add, “Also Alia (is an inspiration). She is my age but she has achieved so much in such a short span of time. She is so hardworking. I think everybody has their own journey.”
Well, with Bollywood actresses doing so well in their carriers, there is no denying that they are such an inspiration. Well said, Athiya!
