Yesterday Karan Johar, Salman Khan, and Akshay Kumar announced an unexpected partnership amongst the three. Salman and Karan are going to join hands and co-produce a film in which Akshay is going to play the lead. This partnership is going to be one of the most remembered collaborations in Bollywood. But this announcement has also raised an issue, as it may result in a rift between Salman and Ajay Devgn.
The film in question will see Akshay play the role of Havaldar Ishar Singh, the commander during the Battle Of Saragarhi. The story dates back to 1897 when Havaldar Ishar Singh led 21 Sikh soldiers through a battle against the Afghan invaders.
However, Ajay too had announced a film on similar lines in which he was to play the lead! As reported by DNA, Ajay's film 'Sons Of Sardar Battle Of Saragarhi' deals with a similar subject to the film Salman, Karan, and Akshay announced. The leading newspaper also reported that this might affect Salman and Ajay's friendship.
Raj Kumar Santosh too has a film in the making on Battle of Saragarhi, and Randeep Hooda was roped in to play the lead. However, the film though is announced, the makers have not yet begun shooting the film.
