Sanjay Dutt was released from jail in February last year, and it is since then the speculation about the actor’s comeback has been making rounds. The actor, post his release, has managed to make many a headlines, but most of it has been in regards to his biopic that stars Ranbir Kapoor. However, Sanjay is now to return to the silver screen with 'Bhoomi'.
Sanjay will begin shooting for the film on January 29, and the film explores a father-daughter relationship. The film is to be helmed by director-producer Omung Kumar, and will also star Sayyesha Saigal who made her Bollywood debut opposite Ajay Devgn in 'Shivaay'.
Having said that, Sanjay has himself decided the date to begin shooting the film as according to him the date is his lucky number. A unit member revealed to a popular tabloid, "Dutt is born on July 29, so he wanted to start the new chapter of his life on that particular day. He is paying a lot of attention to his physique so that he looks good on screen. He spends almost two hours in the gym everyday."
Confirming the same, Omung said, "The first schedule of the film will get underway in Agra. It is a two-month start-to-finish schedule. As a director, it is going to be a challenge for me to work on a tight schedule, but that's what excites me about filmmaking. Teaming up with Sanju (Sanjay Dutt) is going to be awesome. His intensity on screen is just amazing. He is back as a new person, so he is going to start with a clean slate. It will be good fun to direct him."
Well, won't it be wonderful to see Sanjay on the 70mm screen soon?!
