While Anushka Sharma is holidaying with her alleged beau, Virat Kohli, the actress recently spoke about an awkward encounter that she had with ‘The Wall’ of the Indian cricket, Rahul Dravid.
Talking to Zee News, the Bollywood actress revealed that she once asked the Wall of the Indian cricket team to return her pen after signing autographs.
A Bengaluru resident, Anushka with her brother once went to get an autograph from Dravid, who was present at the MA Chinnaswamy Stadium for a shoot.
The actress revealed, “When Rahul Dravid came for a shoot at (MA) Chinnaswamy Stadium, we went to see him. I took my brother’s book and pen and went up to Dravid for his autograph since he was feeling shy. I was never star struck. Dravid took my pen and started signing other autographs too. After waiting for him to return my pen, I walked up to him and asked for it back.”
When questioned about being under constant scrutiny surrounding her and her relationships, the actress said, “Sometimes I wish I was never a part of this industry that puts me in the spotlight. Dealing with Winners of 27 world series, they have got the wage bill to the hatred is tough.”
