Blackheads here, blackheads there, blackheads are definitely everywhere (on your face). And let's be honest, they can be a huge hassle to get rid of. That's why we all miss our monthly salon appointments where all we had to do was go lie down while the salon 'didi' took care of the rest. But just because you can't head to the salon anytime soon doesn't mean you can't get rid of blackheads at home. All you need to do is invest in the right products and opt for the right techniques. So, if you're looking to say goodbye to those pesky blackheads, here are a few ways in which you can do it right at home.
Use blackhead removing tools - Even if you haven't used one before, we're sure you still have one at home. This is by far the easiest way to get rid of blackheads because all you need to do is steam your face to open your pores and then use the tool on your skin to get rid of your blackheads. Remember to be very gentle with your skin though, or else you might end up doing more harm than good.
Try out pore strips - These are easily available in the market so you can just purchase them the next time you step out. However, if you're in a hurry and want to try these out now, you can always just make them at home by yourself. Combine 3 tablespoons of sugar, 2 tablespoons of honey and the juice of 1 lemon in a saucepan and mix these all together to form a thick liquid. Once done, set it aside to cool and add 2-3 drops of glycerin to the mixture. Apply this mixture to your skin, let it harden and then peel it off.
Exfoliate your skin - More often than not you don't even have to go that extra mile to get rid of gunk and grime from your skin. You simply need to follow a regular skincare routine and the rest will get taken care of. If your blackhead problem isn't too far gone by now, simply use an exfoliating scrub on your skin twice a week, and it'll work wonders in getting rid of all the dirt from your skin.
Try these tips out and see what works best for you. Stay tuned for more updates.
