Among the plethora of health-related guidelines we all need to follow is one which says we must also constantly wash our hands with soap to keep ourselves free from germs. And while this may successfully kill any virus or bacteria that lurks on our hands, what it can also do is make our skin very, very dry.
And if like us, you're tired of having to constantly figure out ways in which you can keep your skin from becoming too dry, here's a DIY skin scrub you should opt for. It'll ensure to get rid of that dryness from your hands in no time!
For the scrub, you'll need 1 spoon powdered oatmeal and 1/2 spoon coconut oil. Take a bowl and put these ingredients in it. Mix them well to form a coarse paste-like scrub. Apply this scrub on your palms and gently massage it all over. Leave it on for at least another 15-20 minutes and then rinse it off with cold water.
Once done, pat your skin dry with a towel and then apply some moisturiser to your hands to help seal the moisture in. You can apply this scrub every night before you go to bed so that you wake up with smooth and soft hands every morning. Try this out and see how well it'll work. Stay tuned for more updates.
