Taking a trip can prove to be quite hectic and travelling between cities can get super tiring let alone having to travel to whole other country. From planning your trip to having to navigate through airport terminals and packing the right stuff for the right place, travelling might turn out to become quite the hassle for you if you don't plan things in advance.
Another problem with international flights is that you're stuck in your chair for hours. And let's be honest, that can become quite annoying. This is the time when you start wondering if you did everything right for your trip. Well, worry not, if you're a first-time international traveller, here are some hacks that will come to your rescue.
Keep things ready: First and foremost, when you get to the airport make sure that all your documents like your ticket and your passport are in your hand. When you're standing in line at the counter, it'll help save a lot of your time if things are easily accessible. Don't wait until the last moment to fiddle with your hand luggage to get things out.
Make sure to dress comfortably: You're going to be stuck in the flight for at least a few hours and the last we checked, you can't just take a stroll when you're in the flight. So, make sure that you're dressed accordingly. Try to wear clothes that are comfortable and loose-fitting so that you have enough leverage to bend your elbows and knees. Your footwear matters the most. Women should avoid wearing heels and men should ideally wear something comfy like loafers or sandals.
Take a front-row seat: If you're one of those finicky people who just can't wait to get off the plane then the best thing you can do is to take a front-row seat as they get to deboard the plane first. You're also bound to be the first from your plane to get into the check-out line.
Be polite: The plane staff is there to serve you yes, but they're also human beings and should be treated that way. Instead of demanding things, ask politely and they'll be a lot more inclined to help you out. The ruder you are the less likely it'll be for you to have a pleasant flight.
Well, we sure hope these hacks come in handy. What say you? Yay or nay?
