Not everybody loves getting into gym clothes and working out. Many people find it difficult to make time for exercise and most prefer to just skip it all together. However, no matter how lazy you feel there are a few small steps you can try. A little effort goes a long way. So if you feel lazy or if fitness is boring, here are a few small steps that can help you.

02/14Don't monitor time when you workout
Even if you exercise for five minutes, consider it an achievement. When you are getting started, don't look at the clock. Do as much as you can. Taking the step to get moving is a huge breakthrough. The next time you feel you haven't done enough, pat yourself on the back for doing it anyway.

03/14Switch off
Sometimes switching off and resting can help you achieve your workout goals. When your mind is racing, it can tire you out. Sleeping it off can help your body gear up for an exercise or even a brisk walk.

Let an app help you out if you are really feeling lazy and need some guidance. You can try an app like Tabata for a quick workout session. The app can help guide you through a workout that includes burpees, mountain climbers and planks. This will help get your heart pumping.

05/14Don't leave the house
Yes, you read that right. You don't really even need to leave your house to get your workout for the day done. There are multiple things right in your house that you can use to opt for your exercise. You could opt for tricep dips, lunges or you could even do repetitions of the plank right in your house. What more do you need?
06/14Walk for 20 minutes daily
Sometimes just the thought of going for a walk is enough to put you in a lazy mood. But what're 20 minutes, right? You can walk a little to an from work. You can even take a short walk during your lunch break. If you find it to be a boring activity, listen to a podcast or have a conversation with a friend. This way the time will go by fast and you'll be doing your health a world of good.

07/14Stand up for a while every hour
Sitting down for too long can be harmful to our health, according to many studies in recent years. Even though the days can get busy, you have to make a conscious effort to stand up for a while before you get lost in your computer screen. Stand while taking a phone call or make yourself a cup of tea. You can even stand while walking to your colleague.

08/14Do the 10s daily
When it comes to moving your body, doing something is better than nothing. If you can't deal with working out for even five minutes, no problem. All you have to do is make sure you do 10 push-ups and 10 sit-ups daily. You can space it out and do a few every couple of hours if you don't want to workout in a row. Keep a log so you can stay on top of your short but effective workout.

Anytime you start to feel super lazy you'll need some inspiration. So, what you can do is put up a picture of what your ideal weight should be. It could be a photo of yours from when you were fitter or it could be a photo of someone whom you idolise and believe you should try to be like.

The best time to work out for you will be in the morning because then you can just get it done and over with before your day begins. If you plan it for the evenings there are chances that you might end up not going owing to being too tired or late from work. So for you, it's ideal that you finish up in the morning.
