Beauty regimes may wary from person to person but no regime is complete without a proper facial cleanser. It helps get rid of dirt and impurities from the surface of our skin so that the other products can seep into our skin and do their jobs properly. But now that we're in lockdown, you might not have access to store-bought face cleansers. Worry not, for you can simply make them at home instead. Here are a few natural face cleansers that you must try making at home.
Cleanser for oily and acne-prone skin: You'll need half a cucumber, with peel, One cup papaya pulp, One tablespoon freshly-squeezed orange juice and half cup ground Mung beans/ green gram. Toss all the ingredients into your blender and blend them until they form a paste. Apply this paste to your skin and massage your face for a few minutes. Leave it on for a few more minutes and then rinse your face with water.
Cleanser that works as a mask/scrub/moisturiser: For this one, you need One tablespoon gram flour (besan), One tablespoon ground almonds and One tablespoon rosewater. Mix well and apply the paste to your face. Let it dry and then massage it off while you rinse it.
Cleanser to remove makeup: Take One tablespoon safflower oil, One tablespoon sunflower seed oil and One tablespoon grapeseed oil. Mix all the ingredients and store the oil in a clean bottle. Use whenever required.
Try these out for yourself. Stay tuned for more updates.
