The suspense will finally come to an end on December 31 as the actor who has organised a six-day fans meet at Raghavendra Kalyana Mandap has now said that he will announce his decision on New Year's Eve.
"There has been a lot of speculation on whether I will enter politics or not. So much has been discussed in the media. I want to say that I am not new to politics. I know the challenges and the depth of it. I am taking time only because I know what it demands. To win, you need to have prudence and some plan. And once you enter, you need to win," he said. "I will announce my political decision on December 31," he concluded.
The actor earlier said, "It would be foolish to think that one is successful in politics due to capability, experience and hard work. It's all a question of time and circumstances. If the time is not right, nothing can help." This was interpreted as a subtle hint about his political ambitions earlier on.
