Tiger was currently embroiled in a controversy when filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma pitted him against the 'Commando' actor Vidyut Jammwal. Ram Gopal Varma in an inebriated went on a Twitter rant where he wondered that who would be a better fighter between the two action stars. Later in the day, Vidyut took to his social media and uploaded an audio clip where RGV can be heard trash-talking with Vidyut. During this conversation, RGV called Tiger a 'transgender' and further added, "Tiger Shroff is the greatest woman I saw in my life."
When asked Tiger Shroff if getting involved in controversies like these affects him, the actor revealed,"I get really upset when I'm aware that my parents know about it. If it is only me, I don't mind. I prefer to ignore and continue working. The fact that my parents read the news and get upset is something that I don't like. In fact, my mum takes it to her heart and becomes very defensive."
However, this is not the first time that RGV has taken a dig at Tiger Shroff on his social media handle. A few weeks back RGV had compared Tiger with Urmila Matondkar and said that he will never be half the man his father is. When asked about his equation with RGV, Tiger said, "Everyone is nice to me except RGV sir." The actor further added that he is not very social and does not hang out with friends much. Tiger asserted, "I do have friends but I don't hang out with them much as I am not very social."
Tiger, who is known for his unique style of action has maintained that he would not like to experiment with other movie genres. The actor is currently shooting for Sabbir Khan's dance drama 'Munna Michael' alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The actor has his kitty full with projects like Karan Johar's 'Student of the Year 2' and Sajid Nadiadwala's 'Baaghi 2'.
