The real reason why Katrina Kaif turned down Half Girlfriend
Katrina Kaif was the first choice to play the leading lady in Half Girlfriend, however, she turned it down and here’s why
Miss Kyra | Dec 1, 2016, 14:28 ISTKatrina Kaif was the first choice to play the leading lady in Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Half Girlfriend’, which is based on a novel wtitten by Chetan Bhagat by the same name. Katrina, wholiked her part, however decided to turn down the role.
According to reports,Katrina told the director of themovie, Mohit Suri, that she might not fit into the role of a college going girl which her character demanded. She further said that she might look older than Arjun on screen. Mohit couldn’t help but respect Katrina’s honesty and he then approached Shraddha for the part, who happily got on board.
The movie, which is currently on floors, is scheduled to release on 19
th May 2017.
