After delivering hits like 'Special 26', 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' and 'A Wednesday', Neeraj Pandey is all geared up for his next directorial venture. The film titled 'Aiyaary', just like his previous directorial - 'Special 26', is said to be based on true events. According to reports, 'Aiyaary' will star Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee in the lead roles.
'Aiyaary' is a story that revolves around the mentor-protégé relationship. A source close to the development reveals, "These incredible characters exist and the incident actually happened. Neeraj was looking to explore a different kind of a story after MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. He has put together a great ensemble cast, along with Sidharth and Manoj."
To be shot in Delhi, Kashmir, and London, Neeraj will soon begin shooting for the film in May. Sidharth took to Twitter to confirm the news, and even shared a teaser poster of the film:
The film is slated to release in 2018 during the Republic Day weekend.
