Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are two of the biggest stars who's film deals and rights are sold at whopping prices. The two though have a different set of fans, it doesn't come as a surprise when Salman and Shah Rukh are pitted against each other at the Box Office. Undeterred from the comparisons drawn, SRK and Salman maintain that their friendship is to stay.
Salman's 'Tubelight' and Shah Rukh's tentatively titled 'Raula', both are to hit theatres soon. While the music rights of Salman's 'Tubelight' were acquired by Sony Music India at Rs 20 crore, in comparison the rights of 'Raula' have been acquired at Rs 15 crore.
However, what makes this price difference more significant is the fact that Salman's 'Tubelight' only have three songs in the film, whereas, Shah Rukh's 'Raula' has a total of six songs. Leading daily further reports that had Salman added three more songs in 'Tubelight', the music rights would have fetched a whopping 40 crore.
While 'Raula' has a commercial line-up of songs, 'Tubelight' songs are situational. Doesn't this speak volumes about the stark difference in star power that Salman and Shah Rukh hold?
