Earlier we reported that choreographer-director Remo D'souza is in talks with Salman Khan for a film. Remo, who has choreographed Salman in many of his films, confirmed that he approached the actor with a script and that Salman has liked the script. Salman too during an event confirmed that he is soon to collaborate with Remo on a dance film.
A popular daily now informs that Salman has signed on to do Remo's 'ABCD 3'. The choreographer-turned-director has also finalised Jacqueline Fernandez to play the leading lady alongside Salman.
A source close to the daily reveals, "Salman starts Remo’s film right after he wraps up 'Tiger Zinda Hai'. And the heroine has been finalised. Remo took his film to Jackie and she has liked the idea. She is out of the country, so once she’s back, he will sit down with her for a full script narration and lock her for the film.
An insider report suggests that the story is an emotional father-daughter tale which will see Salman play father to a 13-year-old girl. Also, as per reports, Salman has already started working on his dance skills for the film. The source further adds, "Salman and his daughter need to compete for a dance championship. Jackie plays the role of their dance teacher who helps them learn the ropes of different styles of dance forms."
"'ABCD' was a sleeper hit. 'ABCD 2' starred Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor and was the first dance film to do Rs 100 crore. 'ABCD 3' is getting bigger and needs a superstar for its third calling. Remo is extremely pleased everything has fallen in place," concludes the source.
